Aidem Digital in RBS 100 Index as Fastest Growing Newcomer

Aidem Digital CIC has been listed in the 10 Fastest Growing Newcomers Index in the official RBS SE100 Report for 2012 for Social Enterprises. Aidem Digital appears as number 6 in the Newcomers Index and is the only organisation from the West Midlands.

The RBS SE100 Index is now in its third year. Its aim remains the same: to track the success of social businesses across the UK by examining both their growth and the way they demonstrate their impact.

The SE100 uses three key categories related to organisations it uses for each index. These are growth, impact and newcomers.

RSB SE100 Newcomers Index

The SE100 Growth Index is a list of the top 100 fastest growing established enterprises – those that have more than three years of accounts and therefore appear on the SE100 main index. So, growth is a key entity for the social enterprises

Successful social enterprises need to be soundly-run businesses, but they must have a social impact too. While it’s relatively easy to measure the financial bottom line, measuring social impact is a challenge that social enterprises have been tackling for many years – some more successfully than others. The SE100 Impact Index tracks most impacting social enterprises.

Social enterprises that have been trading for fewer than three years are entered on to on the SE100 Newcomers Index, which is the index where Aidem Digital appears.

Indi Deol, Managing Director of Aidem Digital said:

“We are delighted with this news of being in the RBS SE100 Newcomer Index and it feels great to see how the organisation has progressed and grown to date.”

“This is very encouraging and gives us the push to do more, and do it better, whilst making sure it makes good business sense at the same time.”

Aidem Digital is working on delivering a number of exciting projects in 2013, to continue its ambitions to be a respected provider of services and skills development in digital media.
